Beautiful words from The Forbidden Meal in review of the Marcus Vitae Gala 2014 held at the Windsor Montreal.

"The first course consisted of a tower of roasted vegetables, balsamic reduction, and crostini (the vegetables on the plate were eggplant, zucchini and red pepper and a few arugula leaves), all soaked in a slightly acid vinaigrette. Light, fresh and a perfect pairing with my white wine, that was a memorable starter.

As for the main dish, we all had a big piece of braised beef short rib in pan juices with pureed parsnip and a bouquet of asparagus. I was amazed by how the meat was soft and almost with a melty consistency."

moving in together to our new home, we'd like to take this opportunity to

catering experience for us and our guests.

We especially appreciated your flexibility in coming up with the dessert
selection of our dreams all while respecting our budget. The guests were
very impressed at the variety and quantity, and I often got asked who the

In the spirit of the Olympics we catered a Russian themed menu at FGL Sports FGL Sports. The menu consisted of

We received this beautiful thank you from Petra Alves, Manager of Conference Services for Concordia University. It was a pleasure working with them and to be associated with such a great cause.


A big thank you for participating in the "Taste of a Good Cause" event we hosted Wednesday, November 20th.


As a first time event, we did not know exactly what to expect but I can tell you that it was a tremendous success on many levels; approximately 200 people attended. We feel it's a success based on my own as well as my team's observations and from the influx of rave reviews from our community that we are still getting.

Thanks to your gracious support, together, we raised $1,431.27; all of which will go to the Student Emergency and Food Fund at Concordia University.


Our community was absolutely blown away by your professionalism, the quality of your food and the presentation.

I hope that you found the experience to be as positive as we did. This is definitely a formula we would like to repeat in future. I would love to hear feedback about what your experience was as well. Please feel free to communicate with me or Dominique at your convenience.

It started with the Bell Canada event at the Scotia Bank.

On Saturday we sponsored the "Sourire pour la vie" event at Espace Cormier.

On Sunday we catered to a cocktail in honour of International Women's day at Casa d'Italia.

Each event was created for a beautiful cause, it was a pleasure catering to the events. We look forward to another wonderful week filled with some of the city's best events.

On Friday February 22nd, 2013 we had the pleasure to cater the event Vini & Poésie hosted by the Contessa Massimila Serege Alighieri which took place at the Casa d"Italia Montreal. We created a wonderful five course meal for the event including lamb stew, rigatoni, filet mignon with portobello and rapini, tiramisu, cannoli and crème brulée.

Last Tuesday, February 11th, we had the pleasure to organize a cocktail for FGL Sports in Laval. Bon Appetit oversaw the set-up of the room, the cocktails and the hors d'oeuvres. This successful event welcomed more than 500 people.

CIPBA - Queen's Diamond Jubilee Medals ceremony

On February 6th the Queen's Diamond Jubilee Medals ceremony hosted by CIPBA - Canadian and Italian Professional Business Association took place in Montreal in the offices of law firm, Fasken Martineau. Not only did we get the chance to cater this prestigious event but our very own John D'Ambrosio was one of the recipients. Congratulations to John and to all the other recipients of this year's medal.
